Proxy 2.0 Full Representation entails serving as a client’s de facto Government Relations/Public Affairs Director. This comprehensive relationship is pro-active, solutions-based and reflects a true partnership between PROXY 2.0 and the client. Services include:
þ Registering as an authorized lobbyist with the City of Chicago and/or State of Illinois;
þ Monitoring relevant public policy;
þ Developing strategic and tactical government relations plans;
þ Working with the client’s communications operations to stay on message;
þ Identifying allies and opponents on various issues;
þ Tracking federal appropriations to the state and/or municipal administration points;
þ Writing issue and position papers and preparing testimony; and
þ Issue negotiation and/or resolution.

#1 – TransLumen Technologies, LLC
Serve as the Director of Communications & Government Affairs Director for the visual technology firm. Activities and accomplishments include:
þ Developing strategies for the company’s defense/homeland security division;
þ Securing a $100,000 State of Illinois Homeland Security grant; and
þ Developing strategies to enter the Public Art and Digital Billboard markets.
#2 – TechAlt
Served as a registered City of Chicago and State of Illinois Lobbyist for the homeland security/technology company. Activities included:
þ Tracking Illinois’ federal homeland security appropriations;
þ Developing an internet-based system to update public sector stakeholders;
þ Developing an initiative to educate local government officials on available homeland security funding for municipalities (later used with SPSS); and
þ Developing multiple municipality strategies to market TechAlt products to public safety and law enforcement entities.
#3 – Chicago Systems Group
Working as a representative of the Center for Association Resources, served as a registered State of Illinois lobbyist for the information technology firm. Special attention was placed on monitoring procurement activities, assisting in R-F-P responses, providing regular reports on political dynamics within state government and educating legislators and their staff on information technology developments.
