Big changes at the National Veterans Art Museum.


In July of last year, Levi Moore was tapped to serve in a temporary role as the Executive Director of the National Veterans Art Museum (NVAM).  In April of this year, that assignment was extended to April of 2012. 

The challenge of  this "Job of Joy" requires an economic development approach to finding a new home for the museum, which had been located at 1801 S. Indiana in Chicago's South Loop area since 1996.

Established in 1981, the museum collects, preserves and exhibits art inspired by combat created by veterans.
